At the request of the RU-IM Telematics Joint Sector Group (JSG) for the Technical Specification for Interoperability relating to Telematics Applications for Freight (TSI TAF), RailData is establishing two Telematic Expert Groups: TEG 5 for the Consignment Order function and TEG 6 for the Wagon Movement function.
These permanent groups will provide specialized expertise to the Sector Management Office (SMO) and JSG to support the ongoing maintenance and enhancement of TAF and TAP (Telematics Applications for Passengers) processes. The establishment of TEG 5 and TEG 6 addresses the need to update and refine TAF specifications to better meet the demands of the rail freight sector and its customers.
RailData and the JSG invite railway undertaking (RU) experts to join these groups. Detailed information about the tasks, organization, and desired expert profiles, along with contact details for applications, is available in the attached documents. Rail experts in the domains of Consignment Order and Wagon Movement are encouraged to participate and contribute to shaping the future of rail freight interoperability.
