RailData is relocating its office from Basel to Paris, hosted by the UIC, by the end of June.
For the past two decades, RailData has operated from the Makula building, located opposite Basel SBB railway station. This year, RailData has decided to move to Paris, where the UIC has offered flexible, on-demand facilities. The shift reflects a reduced need for a dedicated office space, driven by the rise in remote work, online meetings, and digitized administrative processes. Additionally, the relocation to an EU country is expected to yield cost savings.
