In accordance with the RailData Terms of Reference and following the expiration of the mandates of RailData’s executive committee members, elections were held during the RailData Assemblies meetings on November 30 and December 1, 2021, conducted via Teams. All elected positions carry a two-year mandate.

The following appointments were confirmed:

Mr. Tommy Ransmark (Green Cargo) was elected as the new RailData General Assembly Chairman.
Mr. Matthias Mäechler (SBB Cargo) was elected as the new RailData General Assembly Vice-Chairman.
Mr. Petr Červinka (ČD Cargo) was re-elected as the ISR Assembly Chairman, extending his mandate.
Mr. Lothar Schneemann (DB Cargo) was re-elected as the ORFEUS Assembly Chairman, extending his mandate.

New RailData Governance

On March 20, 2025, the RailData General Assembly, held in Olten, approved significant changes to the organization’s governance structure, prompted by the departure of two key leaders by the end of May.
